Training for the Road Trip 04/05/2018 We have been subjecting ourselves to rigorous training in order to prepare for the Epic EV Roadtrip, it only makes sense. For example, last week I drove around 1,500 miles up to New England and back to visit family and friends. The best-laid plans of mice and men - Go oft awry 04/04/2018 After wrestling with the MLB schedule for countless days to come up with the perfect itinerary, we had finally found a viable trip that would allow us to attend a full game in each MLB stadium in a record 28 days - and with 8 hours of sleep most nights and with only one ridiculous non-stop overnight drive (Cleveland to Denver). Initially, the trip was conceived as a way to try to take delivery of my new Tesla Model 3 electric vehicle as soon as possible. I had been following Tesla and their new "more affordable Model 3" for some time, and I was very excited when I heard that Tesla was finally about to accept reservations. In order to ensure getting one as soon as possible, I lined up at the Tesla Showroom in Vienna,
